“Your word I have hidden in my heart, that I might not sin against You!” Psalms 119:11
Abba, beloved Lord Father. We fall on our knees at the throne of your mercy. We exalt you and praise you, oh, Lord our God in your Excellency and Righteousness. We are forever grateful for the powerful grace of your gospel that saved us from the doom of our souls. We earnestly desire to conceal your words in our souls, oh God. Let them be inscribed in every slice of our hearts for the mind and memory may fail but the heart always commemorates. Lead our soul to delight in your laws and your gospel by treasuring and meditating on them, obeying and living them and declaring them to others. We pray that the admonitions and reprimands of your words may convey us wisdom and purity of heart. May we be able to effectively use your words of truth against the lies of Satan. Let them be lamps to light our path to avoid temptations. Let them also be anchor when we are uncertain and confused in our walk that we may be steadfast in our faith. Lord, by your words, may we be able to see the beauty of your holiness which will comfort us all the days of our lives. Amen.
