Let Us Pray No. 39

  • February 8, 2017

“When I found the one I love. I held him and would not let him go, until I had brought him to the house of my mother, And into the chamber of her who conceived me.” Songs of Solomon 3:4

Abba, heavenly Father. I am offering to you my incessant prayers with thanksgiving and praising. Meditating about how amazing your Agape love. You abased yourself in a form of human to reveal your saving grace for us. The blood you shed on the cross is the cost you paid for us to become children and heirs of your kingdom on earth and in heaven. We were born anew of incorruptible seed through your living and lasting Word. You are our beloved Father and your Most Holy Church is our spiritual Mother. Oh Lord God, how blessed we are!

As brothers and sisters, help us to continue to learn providing arms of love that embraces each other. Help us to have a shepherd’s heart in our own heart so we can take a look and care for each other. Teach us how to show love through sincere actions. Send us and use us oh Lord to our brothers and sisters who were lost and strayed in faith. Finding them is the proof of our Agape. We know that they may be waiting for us like a parched land that waits for the rain. Guide us to a fruitful search, to lead them back in the bosom of your truth and in your house until we reach and dwell forever in the heavenly mansions in eternal life. Amen.
