And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me. (2 Corinthians 12:9 NKJV)
Abba, our Father, You are the perfect and holy God. You are blameless and without any spot. You are the only one possessing a glorious image. We recognize You as our great Creator. You created us perfectly despite the infirmities we have. Although some people despise You for creating them with weakness, we, Your children, are still grateful. For without our weakness, we can never appreciate Your strength. Without our inequities, we can never give thanks for Your grace. Without our imperfections, we cannot behold and ponder on Your perfect beauty. We are truly happy despite our weaknesses and imperfections, for Your love and kindness always fill whatever we lack. You complete us. We only need You in this life and if we have You, we will never need anything more. We simply want to thank You for being our loving and caring Father. We offer this prayer of thanksgiving to Your sacred name, Christ our Lord. Amen.
