Let Us Pray No. 362

  • December 28, 2023

Therefore do not worry about tomorrow, for tomorrow will worry about its own things. Sufficient for the day is its own trouble. (Matthew 6:34 NKJV)

Abba, Lord our Father, You are the same God yesterday, today, tomorrow, and forevermore. You are the all-knowing God. You know even all the things yet to happen. You know the troubles and trials we are about to face. Most certainly, You know how we can overcome all of them. We tend to anticipate hardships based on the troubles we currently face. With that, we become uncomfortable and scared for tomorrow. We sometimes forget to live and enjoy the blessings You abound us in the moment because of our anxieties for tomorrow. Father, as You have always told us, may we cast all our worries on You for You care for us. May we learn to trust that You will never leave us. May we have the confidence that we can overcome everything if You are with us. May we not say, “I won’t be able to worship the Lord tomorrow, because of the hardships I face today.” May You always see us praising and worshipping You in all situations. That way, we can be sure Your favor will always be with us. Take away all our worries and fill our heart with courage. You are the God of victory and we are Your children. We can never be scared of trials and sufferings. Instead, we should look forward to overcome them. We know You will hear this short prayer and give us victory today, tomorrow, and all the days to come. Amen.
