Let Us Pray No. 355

Can two walk together, unless they are agreed? (Amos 3:3 NKJV)

Abba, Lord God, You called and adopted us as Your children. As our Father, it pleases You to see all Your children living and working together in harmony while upholding Your commandments. It displeases You to see any of Your children in conflict caused by disagreements, for it hinders love from flowing freely among Your children. If love will not prevail among us, then all our efforts to serve You will be in vain. Conflicts and disagreements will slow us down in upholding Your mission. Therefore, our Father, we are praying to You to please help and teach us to be humble before one another. Teach us to never think of ourselves higher than others. Teach us to admit our mistakes and humbly accept corrections. Please teach us to accept our differences and each other’s weaknesses. Instead of belittling anyone due to their flaws, may we look for ways to cover for their shortcomings. May we humbly ask for forgiveness when we sin. Likewise, may we be humble enough to forgive those who sinned against us. Our Father, teach us to love one another like how You loved us. The love You gave us is a perfect love. If we will love one another with Your kind of love, that love is enough to fill and cover all our imperfections. If our love makes us see one another as perfect children of Yours, then we will live and work together happily and harmoniously. Most of all, our fellowship will proclaim that we are Your children and You, the Most High God, are our Father. We pray all these for the glorification of Your name, Christ Jesus. Amen.
