Abba, our Father, our God Most High, You are the source of true and lasting happiness. We live in a time full of troubles and sorrows brought by the evil in this world. Everywhere we go, danger is upon us. We can be infected with lethal sickness anytime. Many of us lost our stable livelihood and have no stable source of income. Peace and order cannot be maintained even by iron fists. Truly, everything surrounding us instill fear and confusion in the hearts and minds of many. But we thank You, our Lord, for we know all these shall pass. Whatever happens, we know You, Your words, and Your promises will never pass. We understand all the things happening around us are just signs of Your most awaited second coming, to reward those who remained faithful in keeping Your word. Therefore, no trouble can confuse us; no famine can scare us; and, no fear can petrify us, for You are with us. Lord, please help us remain glad in serving You and continue showing us the realization of all Your promises. That way, we can find rest and peace in the midst of all the turmoil this world is suffering. Thank You for the peace You left us. We pray all these in Your name, Christ Jesus. Amen.
