Let Us Pray No. 338

  • December 4, 2023

And He died for all, that those who live should live no longer for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again. (2 Corinthians 5:15 NKJV)

Abba, our Father in heaven, God Most High, we come to You today to thank You for making it possible for us to live according to Your will. We can never do it by ourselves. Without You, we will remain lost no matter what we do. It is completely clear to us that what You did for us is not a simple or small thing. You, the Most High God, went down to earth in a lowly human form. You suffered and died for us so we may live. No one else is able and willing to do that for us but You. Therefore, we pray to You to please help us use the life You have given us to give importance to Your sacrifices. Since You gave us this life leading to eternal life, may we live proclaiming You in our lives. Before we act, speak, or do anything, may we think thoroughly if it will please or delight You. Before we make any decisions, may we see to it that it is according to Your holy will. We know that if we live for the sake of delighting ourselves, we will fail miserably. Therefore, please always remind us to glorify You in everything we do. We believe that if we do so, You will be generous to give us things that will fill our hearts with joy. We know hardships will be on our way, but please comfort us, so upholding Your statutes may be our happiness, no matter our circumstance. We pray all these to Your holy name, Christ Jesus. Amen.
