Let Us Pray No. 319

  • November 15, 2021

Therefore, if food makes my brother stumble, I will never again eat meat, lest I make my brother stumble.  (1 Corinthians 8:13)

Abba, Father our King, God seated at the highest throne in heaven, despite being the Highest, You showed great humility. You manifested in the flesh and took the humble position of a slave for each of us to obtain salvation. Our well-being is more important to You. You faced great humiliation just to give us honor. We thank You for this love, our God. May we show the same kind of love to our brothers and sisters. May we prioritize other people’s welfare over ourselves, so each of us may remain actively serving You. May You find never any of us in haughtiness but rather in whole humility. May we never hold on to our own understanding if this will cause others to stumble in faith. We are asking for Your help, Father, for the sake of us serving You together in harmony. This is our little prayer in Your name Christ Jesus, our Savior. Amen.
