Let Us Pray No. 318

  • November 14, 2023

You shall not hate your brother in your heart. You shall surely rebuke your neighbor, and not bear sin because of him. (Leviticus 19:17)

Abba, our Great God, our Father who corrects us, never did You keep records of our sins. When you forgive, You forgive truly and sincerely. Instead of immediately punishing us for our sins, You teach us to do things according to Your sacred commandments. May we be like You towards our brothers and sisters. Due to weakness, some of our brother tend to sin against us sometimes. Please do not let anger get the better of us. Instead, may we have the power and will to let them realize the sins they committed against us. May we do this with love, so we may encourage them to repent and do things according to Your will as we speak. Most of all, give us a humble heart that forgives anyone who sinned against us, just like You who forgave all our sins. We can do this only by the name of the Lord Christ Jesus, our God and Savior. Amen.
