That you may become blameless and harmless, children of God without fault in the midst of a crooked and perverse generation, among whom you shine as lights in the world. (Philippians 2:15)
Abba, our God and Father, You are indeed Holy. You are the God of light. Your great radiance comes from Your perfect holiness. Your great love saved us from the darkness to Your marvelous light. Although we are nothing, You have given us the honor to be Your children. As Your children, You expect us to be the light like You by living in holiness until we become perfect. If we live holy, our good deeds will serve as a light in the midst of this dark and wicked world. If that happens, Your light that shines through us will be seen by the people who are imprisoned with their sins. That light will be a guide to many more souls to return to You. That is why, we pray to You to help and guide us walk in righteousness, so our light can bring salvation to the world. We sincerely pray these in Your name, Christ Jesus, our Savior. Amen.
