Let Us Pray No. 235

  • August 23, 2025

Restore us, O God of hosts; Cause Your face to shine, And we shall be saved! (Psalm 80:7 NKJV)

Abba, Most High God, You are our Father in heaven. You are the King who adopted us and appointed us as Your children. At this moment, we are praying not just for ourselves but for our brethren who lost their joy for service and who were separated from us. We are praying for our brethren who are being crushed by many trials; those who are overpowered by various temptations; those whose faith is weak; those whose love became cold; and, those who do not fully understand Your will and decision. For all these reasons and if there are other reasons, we only have one prayer: Father, have mercy on them. May the light of Your great holiness shine upon them. May they once again feel the warmth of Your pure passion, which once motivated them to begin lively serving You. If You find them to be unfaithful, may You see in their hearts a longing to return to Your true home. We truly love these brethren and we are excited to be with them again, not only in the active service in this life, but until we gather together in Your presence in the heaven of heavens. We pray all these in the name of our God, Christ Jesus. Amen.
