Let Us Pray No. 232

  • August 20, 2023

Do not remember the sins of my youth, nor my transgressions; According to Your mercy remember me, For Your goodness’ sake, O Lord. (Psalm 25:7 NKJV)

Abba, Most High God, You know all things. All things of the past, things that are currently happening, and as well as things that will happen in the future—You know all these. So, the way we have lived in the past cannot be hidden from Your knowledge. You know all our sins. Our impurity is revealed before You, but You are overflowing with love. Instead of You have a list of our transgressions, You discarded all our sins to Your back. You had mercy on us and forgave our iniquities. You created us just like an infant—clean and without impurity. The abundance of Your goodwill has motivated us to repent and finally give up all our sins. Apart from this, You granted us the promise of eternal life. We truly have nothing to repay Your goodness but to thank You and serve You until the end of our lives. May we continue to live with the holiness You called each of us into. This is our humble request in Your name, Christ Jesus, our God, and Savior. Amen.
