“For this reason we also, since the day we heard it, do not cease to pray for you, and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding; that you may walk worthy of the Lord, fully pleasing Him, being fruitful in every good work and increasing in the knowledge of God.” Colossians 1:9-10
Abba, our Father, I thank you and ceaselessly praying to you Lord that the Gospel we had received from you may continue to grow and increase in our hearts. We know that our life as Christians should advance into its spiritual growth. Today, oh, our God, we are asking you not just our physical needs, though we can use them in performing our ministries. What we are desirous to seek from you are your manifold wisdom and knowledge for us to walk keenly, worthily and pleasantly before you. You revealed to us the mystery of your kingdom, sown it deeply in our heart, may we plead that it may bear good fruits of holiness in our daily livings. As you make the time shorter, never let us become stagnant to where we are, instead, make us become more productive in love for each other and in serving the gift of ministries for the edification of your body, the Church. Moreover, oh Lord, as the centennial year of your much-loved Church approaches, we pray to you to unite us to fulfill the plans and programs written in the Centennial Book. Oh Lord, bless the zeal of your people with your zeal to the culmination of our dream work according to your will. This we ask in your Almighty name God Jesus Christ. Amen.
