Jesus said to her, “I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies. (John 11:25 NIV)
This is our blessed hope: that we shall be resurrected and will be crowned with everlasting life after we pass through this present life. Our Lord Jesus Christ set an example for us, His believers. He died in the flesh and after three days, rose from the dead. We shall follow Him to death and to His resurrection. He is the forerunner and if we endure to the end, we shall also be resurrected to eternal life. This is great news that we should preach to the world. They need to know that there is life after death. It can be in hell for eternal punishment and total separation from God or in heaven to receive the blissful eternal existence with God. Death is a sure thing. Nobody escapes from death. No one was able to escape from it. Most people are afraid of death. Some ignore the possibility of life after death. We have to remind people that there is hope, that there is life and we found it in Jesus Christ, the giver of life. Let us spread the good news about Jesus Christ so that they may know that He is the resurrection and the life.
