Cast your burden on the LORD, and he will sustain you; he will never permit the righteous to be moved.(Psalms 55:22 ESV)
Each one of us is responsible for our own actions. We have to carry our own load. It is God who has laid our burdens upon us. He gave them according to what we can afford to carry. In fact, the burdens are lighter compared to what we can really carry. What burdens do we have to carry? These are the things that give us sorrow, heartaches and pains. They are physical, mental and spiritual afflictions. They are most of the times connected with each other. If we commit sins, our physical body is abused and our mental state is confused. For many they are unbearable because they carry their burdens alone. If you believe and accept that God has the sovereign right to lay burdens on us due to trials and or consequence of our actions, then we can ask Him for help. It is His glory to help us if we recognize Him and depend on Him for deliverance. He told us to cast our burdens upon Him and He will give us rest. His yoke is easy and light. Truly, He promised not to remove our burdens. We will still have troubles but He will be there to support us. The yoke He has will not break. It is strong to carry all that you are going through. Brothers and sisters, Christ is our deliverer. Our hope is in Him. Christ is your strength!
