Therefore, beloved, looking for these things, be diligent, spotless, and without blemish, to be found by Him in peace. (2 Peter 3:14 MKJV)
Knowing that God is coming very soon, we should earnestly be preparing for His coming. You see, ready or not, He will come. If we are truly waiting and preparing for that great day, we should renew our strength like eagles, moving upwards, towards perfection, increasing in our faith and growing in holiness. Against the strong winds of hardships and trials, of temptations and persecutions, we should continue to live righteously. Christ wants to see the Church to be Most Holy spotless and without blemish in His second coming, to be His Bride fully prepared for the wedding. Do not be like the five foolish virgins who were not prepared when the bridegroom came. Their lamps ran out of oil and they were out when the Bridegroom came and were not able to come to the wedding. Be like the five wise virgins who had enough oil while waiting and when the Bridegroom came, He gladly took them to the wedding.
