“The proof of the pudding is in the eating.” Meaning, you can only judge something after you have experienced it. God wants us to prove ourselves that we are working out our salvation according to His will. We should practice what we profess. If we say we are God’s children, heirs of the Kingdom of Heaven, then we should live a godly life as citizens of heaven. We should not live according to the dictates of the flesh, to be worldly and to go back to sinful living. It is not enough to hear the words of God and believe them. We should be hearing and doing them. They should mold our minds and hearts. They should transform us into the exact image of God, which is of righteousness and holiness. We should not conform to the lifestyle of the world. The Prophet Joshua advises us to meditate the words of God day and night. Learn them by heart, so that we can OBEY and LIVE BY them. If we do, we shall prosper and succeed.
