When you please the LORD, you can make your enemies into friends. (Proverbs 16:7 GNB)
God Ruleth! He is always in control of anything and everything in the world. He permits things to happen in our lives and for our sake, He saves us from harm when we trust Him fully. Daniel, along with His friends Meshach, Shadrach and Abed-Nego, was cast in a burning fiery furnace for not bowing down to the golden idol set up by Nebuchadnezzar. They got out unharmed because they were accompanied and protected by the Son of God. After the incident, Nebuchadnezzar saw the power of God and promoted Daniel and his friends as officials of Babylon. Soon after, during the time of King Darius, Daniel was cast into a den of lions. Again, even the lions harm him. The Lord God shut the lions’ mouth. Truly, God can change the hearts of our enemies if we believe Him. Even the powerful kings like Nebuchadnezzar, Darius, even the lion king are under the power of God. God can change their hearts and turn their hatred into favors. Believe in the Lord, trust Him fully and He will turn our enemies to friends.
