The king is the friend of all who are sincere and speak with kindness. (Proverbs 22:11 CEV)
Favor is what we usually ask from someone who we think is capable to provide it. It makes life easier and makes us accomplish things much faster. Favors that men can give are limited, but not if God gives us the favor because His power, resources and ways are infinite. A favor from God can change our situation and it lasts even for a lifetime. Come to think of it, God is faithful in helping us every single day. He hears our pleas and knows our needs. Before we say them in prayers, He is already sending help, making things happen to our favor, and employing people and even His angels to aid us. God is kind to those who are kind. He forgives those who forgive. He is generous to those who are generous. In other words, God blesses those who bless others. The basis of all of these is the kindness of God. He speaks sincerely and kindly and does them. If our heart is truthful, pure and kind, our lips will express it and our acts will show it. God is kind every day, it is just appropriate if we worship and praise God for His kindness every day. Do the same. Do a simple act of kindness to someone. Be kind to each other.
