Gold Dust No. 184

But the LORD God keeps me from being disgraced. So I refuse to give up, because I know God will never let me down. (Isaiah 50:7 CEV)

After many years of not having a child to Sarah, God gave Abraham a son: Isaac. Isaac is a child of promise. Through him, God will make Abraham a Father Of Many Nations; a title and honor worth keeping. Then came a day when God asked Abraham to offer Isaac, his only son, as a burnt offering to Him. Without question, Abraham took Isaac with him to Moriah where he will make the offering ritual. Abraham was able to do it because he has full confidence in the Lord. He knows that even if God will take Isaac away from him, God will stay faithful and true to His promises. Sometimes, God lets us experience hardships along our way to success to test us if we will remain trusting Him or take matters into our own hands. Let us be like Abraham. God fulfilled His promise, even greater than Abraham imagined, because Abraham remained faithful. He knows that the Lord will never put his hope and faith to shame. Let us believe that God will never let us down. He will never forsake us. He will never leave us. He will be with us in all our hardships until we reach our most anticipated victory.
