But more than anything else, put God’s work first and do what he wants. Then the other things will be yours as well. (Matthew 6:33 CEV)
In the material world, money is all that matters. Everything has its price. Good food, big house, nice cars, and others have their corresponding tag prices. Even people, their dignity, even life can be bought at the right price. This is not the case for us who know the value of life and righteousness. As children of the Kingdom of Christ, we are complete in what we need. Christ our Lord provides for our needs and protects us from hunger and thirst, both materially and spiritually. Since He is God Almighty, He is the source of everything we want in life. Knowing that material things do not last, we value our spiritual being more than the physical or material being. The Bible says we will not benefit if we have the whole world but lose our souls because our soul is more than the value of the wealth and honor of the world. It is not true that you can buy everything. You cannot save your soul even if you are the wealthiest man on earth. It is our submission to Christ that can save us. He is the only one who is the source of life and happiness. The way to true happiness and abundance in life is to be in His kingdom and be ruled by Christ. Holiness is the kingdom culture. It is our way of life. Be holy and righteous and God, Jesus Christ will bless us with a good life.
