Think about Jesus, who endured opposition from sinners, so that you don’t become tired and give up. (Hebrews 12:3 GW)
We are in a race towards the perfection of our faith. We run against the forces of evil which want us out of the race. There are temptations which distract us and make us want to go slow and stop. These are the concerns of this world like financial, emotional, relational and mental problems. There are also people who directly and/or indirectly persecute us. We are burdened by their acts, pulling us back making it hard for us to move forward. These can make us weary and demoralized to continue. If they succeed, we can be disqualified and lose the race. Let us be firm and determined to finish and win. Look up to Jesus—our savior. He will give the strength and teach us how to win. He has won the race for us. We will win because He is with us. Endure till the end and win the crown of life.
