Physical exercise has some value, but spiritual exercise is valuable in every way, because it promises life both for the present and for the future. (1 Timothy 4:8 GNB)
Daily physical exercise is advised to stay healthy and look well. It results to stronger body, stamina, and increases immunity. Mentally, it develops patience, determination, confidence and friendship. It also provides good looks and a beaming personality as well. However, these benefits are only for a time. It all fades away. Whereas, spiritual exercise provides everlasting benefits. Exercise your faith and you will endure all trials and tribulations which ensures your spiritual victory in Christ. You will increase in the knowledge and understanding of God’s works, making you wiser and ever ready to face any and all challenges in life. You will continue to grow and increase as a spiritual being, having an inner personality which is acceptable and pleasing to God. Blessings in this life will abundantly be yours. More than that, life and blessings which lasts forever will be yours to enjoy. No time to exercise? Brethren, have time to exercise. Have time for godliness!
