But we have renounced the hidden things of shame, not walking in craftiness nor handling the word of God deceitfully, but by manifestation of the truth commending ourselves to every man’s conscience in the sight of God. (2 Corinthians 4:2 NKJV)
True Ministers of Christ live by the words of God they preach. They deliver the best sermon, not only in the pulpit during worship services but daily, by living out the Gospel. They are holy men of God whose characters no one can disapprove. They are honest men. They have nothing to hide that can shame them nor do they hide the gospel because they are ashamed of it. No, no, no! They are brave enough to face any and all oppositions in what they preach, for no one can find fault in their personal characters. They are not crafty in their ministry to pretend that they are holy, when in reality they live in sins. Those who are craft are false teachers. They seem to walk in the way of godliness in broad daylight, when they tread the dark alley of sinfulness. True Ministers preach the Words in truth and love–not for selfish motives to gain wealth, honor, or fame. We are blessed to have Ministers who serve us out of love for God and for the Church. They offer themselves freely to be used by God for His glory. They left all in the name of Christ and they will be rewarded a hundredfold of their sacrifices.
