The war continues. The children of light against the children of darkness. The lions of the world against the eagles of the Church. In Eden, the fight has already been decided. The seed of the woman will bruise the head of the enemy while the enemy shall bruise only the heel of the seed. Truly, the God of peace shall bruise Satan under our feet. God will use us to defeat the forces of evil. We are now forewarned and at the same time, forearmed with the sword and the shield, the Words of God, and the most holy faith respectively. The Old Serpent is wise and cunning. The enemy near us poses a great danger to our soul. The foe in the camp is more dangerous than an army. Conquer yourself because you can be your worst enemy. The flesh in you battles against your spirit. Practice self-denial and restraint. Overcome evil by righteousness. Stay holy and stay safe. Watch and pray. Submit your- self to God, resist the devil, and stay near to God then the devil will flee from you. Fight a good fight of faith. Those who will endure will be saved.
