We are the spiritual seed of Abraham and heirs of God’s covenant promise of a land flowing with milk and honey. It is a promise of a prosperous and peaceful life, not only in the afterlife, but in this life as well. How to get there is up to us. Physical Israel went out of Egypt, journeyed in the desert, and reached Canaan, the Promised Land, after 40 years. Do you know how far Canaan from Egypt is? Even now you can reach it for only 10 days! Then, why it took them 40 years? It is because of their unbelief. Even then, God fulfilled His promise. Moses, God’s chosen leader, instructed Israel according to God’s commands. How many of you struggle to get to the promise of God’s blessings for a long time but still fail? If you doubt God’s words, you will fail to get them. Believe and you will be blessed. How many times did we miss the right exit while travel- ling along the expressway, so we have to take the longer route to get to our destination? Well it is because we did not read the road signs or were unfocused. To get to the promise land, we have to follow the instructions of the Church leadership. The mighty arm of God strength- ens the hands of His leaders to ensure that we shall get and enjoy His promise. Believe in God and follow your Leaders.
