The sons of Issachar who had understanding of the times, to know what Israel ought to do, their chiefs were two hundred; and all their brethren were at their command. (1 Chronicles 12:32 NKJV)

David has to become king. All the tribes of Israel sent their mighty warriors to turn the kingdom of Saul to David. The sons of Issachar were the fewest, only 200 men, but they proved to be very helpful to David. They were wise, understanding the times. They can predict weather conditions, analyze social situations, know when festivities should be held, and have the knowledge of the territorial and historical profile of the lands. Their advice and strategic plans were significant to win battles and govern the people.

Like the sons of Issachar, we have Church Leaders. Although they are few in numbers, they are God-sent to tell us the past, the present, and the future which are to be the bases of our present actions towards achieving our personal and spiritual goals. Seek God’s words from them for advise, comfort, and directions. The Church is in spiritual battle. We are in a Crusade to gain back what is truly God’s own. The world must be released from being Satan’s captive. Free the world from sins through the preaching of God’s Words. That is our mission – our CHURCH mission. As in those times, the brethren were under the command of the 200 chiefs. The Church Administrators and Leaders are to lead and all of the brethren are to obey. Victory is certain when we are united. As it should in the Most Holy Church, the spiritual body of Christ, there is only one spirit. It is like the anointing oil flowing from the beard of Aaron down to the skirts of his garments. We partake of the blessings of God when we are one spirit with the Church Anointed Leader.
