Then ever one came whose heart was stirred, and ever one whose spirit was willing, and they brought the Lord’s offering for the work of the tabernacle of meeting, for all its service, and for the holy garments. (Exodus 35:21 NKJV)
As disciples of the Lord Christ Jesus, we are living stones used in building the spiritual house of God – His tabernacle. We ought to offer up acceptable spiritual sacrifices to God. Although it might sound like an obligation, for those who truly know God, it is considered as labor of love. We will come to truly know God and understand His immeasurable love if we are constantly listening to His words through the teachings of the Church Administration whom He sent. We will have a deep understanding of the sacrifices, good works, and love of God for us that will touch our hearts. If this hap- pens to us, it will urge us and give us a willing spirit to give our offerings to the Lord, which will help His Church in upholding its mission. Remember that every- thing that we give to the Church does not only cover the needs of the saints but also enables the Church, to reach people from far places and share the true faith to them. If you felt the love of the Lord, do not let it just stay with you, share to the world that needs it.
