So it was, when the days of feasting had r n their course that Job would send and sanctify them, and he would rise early in the morning and offer bur t offerings according to the number of them all. For Job said, “It may be that my sons have sinned and cursed God in their hearts.” Thus Job did regularly. (Job 1:5 NKJV)
Parents want only what is best for their children. The best a parent can do for his children is to bring them closer to God. A parent may do his best to protect, take care, educate, and provide for his child, but all of these will be meaningless unless God helps him. That is why it is important for a parent to be prayerful and always include his children in his prayers. Parents should take their children with them to worship services so that they will grow up knowing that worshiping God is a priority. Teach them how to properly pray. When children need to be reprimanded, parents must refer to the teachings of Christ to teach their children that they need to act according to God’s will. Parents should teach their children to sincerely apologize and contemplate whenever they make mistakes. Above all else, parents must teach their children to have fear in the Lord so that they will always behave accordingly wherever they are, who- ever they are with, and whatever they do. There is no perfect parent, but there are good ones. Good parents are those who fully entrusts their children to God.
