“But none of these things move me; nor do I count my life dear to myself, so that I may finish my race with joy, and the ministry which I received om the Lord Jesus, to testify to the gospel of the grace of God. (Acts 20:24 NKJV)

It maybe effortless for anyone to say, “I will carry on to finish my race with joy and my ministry,” while there is not any single thing in his way that will keep him from doing his religious duty. It is a different matter like in the situation of Apostle Paul. His journey to Jerusalem, as a very important part of his ministry, will cause him to suffer imprisonment and death! None of those threats can move him. He told the brethren in Corinthians the only thing that moves him, “For the love of Christ compels us.”

Like Apostle Paul, are you willing to sacrifice when you are obliged to be a partaker in the advancement of evangelism? This dying world needs you and me. Don’t be self-seeking. Spread the Good News with no fear. Save a soul wherever and whenever. Do not be discouraged because of any risk. We are secured only when we obey the will of God, the purpose of God in our lives. The real danger is when we neglect our ministry.
