Before we became followers of our Lord Jesus Christ, we were led in all the evil ways of life. Now we are led by the Holy Spirit and each of us were given different spiritual gifts. The spiritual gift we received is a blessing and not a reward. We should use it as a responsibility next to authority. Along with the gift, we are also given the power and ability to do it well, to become beneficial in the body of Christ, which is the Most Holy Church. We should always remember to accomplish the duties therewith the gifts. It is entrusted to us as our own special way to serve others. It is unpleasant to see that we neglect or are unmindful of the work assigned to us. God is a relentless worker. Jesus is our model in doing our ministry in the Church. “My Father has never stopped working and that is why I keep on working.”
