But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. (Hebrews 11:6 NKJV)

Faith and works complement each other. Faith is not justified without works. Actually, faith without works is dead. In the same way, works without faith are also unacceptable to God. Yes, it is righteous to do His will, but if we are doing it because we feel like we are just compelled to, then it will not please our Savior. Even if we seem to do great things for Him, but we do it without faith, we cannot expect that our Father can be pleased. Just be true in our hearts. We should do things because we truly believe that we are doing all things for the glory of our Savior. When we pray to God, ask Him like we have already received what we are asking for. When we do good things to our fellow, believe that it is to God that we do them. Let us attend every worship service believing that it is the time and place where He will give us spiritual strength and peace. Give our contributions to the Church because we believe that it is His chosen way for us to take part in propagating the Gospel. Even the smallest things can give our Lord pleasure if we do them out of our faith. So, let us live every day of our lives pleasing Him. Do you not find peace and joy when we do God’s commands? Yes, you do, because of your love for God.
