Behold, happy is the man whom God corrects;
Therefore do not despise the chastening of the Almighty. (Job 5:17 NKJV)

Only God knows the future. Only God knows what is best. Sometimes, we seem to live a righteous life. What we do not know is that we unconsciously do things that are against His will and His plan for us. That is why God, sometimes, allows us to be in difficult situations as His way to discipline and correct us in our ways. He is doing this because He loves us and does not want to see us lose our way. Moreover, God announces or executes His will through the Church Administration and His Ministers especially the General Bishop. That is why they impose disciplinary actions for some who consciously or unconsciously do things that are against God’s commandments. Let us thank God and His Ministers who sincerely love us. Thank them for having concern for our spiritual welfare. Thank them when they discipline us so we may stay walking on the right path and not in the wrong way. The way of discipline may seem hurtful and sad, but trust the Lord. We may not see nor understand now why He is disciplining us, but surely, we will benefit from it sooner or later.
