Footprints No. 295

Beloved, while I was very diligent to write to you concerning our common salvation, I found it necessary to write to you exhorting you to contend earnestly for the faith which was once for all delivered to the saints. (Jude 1:3 NKJV)

The goal of our faith is the salvation of our souls. We received our faith from God who showed us His mercy and love, and who wanted us to be saved. Our Lord Christ Jesus said, “For what will a man profit if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?” The salvation of our souls means everything to us. All the riches and glory this world can offer cannot be compared with the value of our soul. The Most High God, through the Church Administration, is exhorting, teaching, and reminding us to do our very best not to lose our faith. Let us not break away from our faith in exchange of having material things. Remember, material things will not last and our faith is the key to receive the promise of eternal life in heaven. Hold on to our faith no matter what happens until it becomes a Most Holy Faith. For as long as we have the faith, we can hurdle all obstacles that come our way. What we need to do is to stay still and trust God, for heaven and earth will pass but His Words will not. We will reach heaven when we hold on to our dear faith.
