The things which you learned and received and heard and saw in me, these do, and the God of peace will be with you. (Philippians 4:9 NKJV)

Life is short and full of troubles. Men seek peace, but there is no peace. Peace can only be found in Christ. He is the God of peace. He came and offered peace to all men and reconciled them to Himself when He hanged on a tree. True peace is a gift from God to those who will hear, accept, and follow Him. We experience it when the spirit of God dwells in us. He will dwell in us if we make Him the Lord of our life. It means we submit ourselves to Him – truly denying ourselves and following His words and His commands. When God sits in the throne of our hearts, peace will engulf our soul. His rule will be of peace, love, and blessings. Though the world is full of troubles, there will be peace within us, peace with our neighbors, and peace with God. Hold on to this priceless peace of God by continuing to hear His words, having faith and obeying them.
