Him we preach, warning every man and teaching every man in all wisdom, that we may present every man perfect in Christ Jesus. 29 To this end I also labor, striving according to His working which works in me mightily. (Colossians 1:28-29 NKJV)
Be like Paul. Let his mission be our mission. Our mission is to PROCLAIM CHRIST to all men. INSTRUCT them to live like Christ. Tell and encourage everyone to think, speak, and live as Christ did. A perfect man has Christ in him. If Christ, His spirit, lives in us we have the hope of glory just like Him who is glorified in heaven. Christ showed us the character of a perfect, mature Son of God. We should all be willing to be like Him. To proclaim Christ needs a lot of hard work and sacrifices. We have to exhaust all means and all our efforts to preach and make disciples of all men. By ourselves alone, we cannot do this mission. But if Christ is in us, His Spirit will give us the heart, wisdom, guidance and power to accomplish it. Through you and me, Christ will be seen, heard and experienced by others who have not encountered Him. Imagine a world when all people of all nations have the mind, words and the heart of Jesus Christ. This will be a wonderful world to live in. Let us start in you and me, Christ in us, our hope of glory.
