Therefore judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes, who will both bring to light the hidden things of darkness and reveal the counsels of the hearts. Then each one’s praise will come from God. (1 Corinthians 4:5 NKJV)
Most of us expect that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming the second time to give us the rewards of eternal life and be with Him in Paradise forever. Unfortunately, many have forgotten the message of His first coming except for the fact that they are saved by His sacrifices and death on the cross. Bear in mind that Christ was judged not because of His sin but because of our sins. He bore our sins. He knew no sin but made Him to be sin that we might become the righteous. In effect, no one, specially the accuser – the devil, can judge us before God. Judgment Day should not cause us fear because we are assured that He will come to accept us in heaven as His children. Those who fear the Second Coming of Christ are the sinners, the proud, and the idolaters – as the Bible say. Those who wait faithfully will be perfected and strengthened to the end. Thus, we should not judge each other for we ourselves cannot judge ourselves fairly. Christ is the Judge. Let us help and support each other in faith that we may all be partakers of the eternal life. Let us prepare to meet our God.
