For I consider that the sufferings of this present time are not worthy to be compared with the glory which shall be revealed in us. (Romans 8:18 NKJV)

This world is decaying and so do all men. We live in this world that is why we all suffer and experience pain, one way or the other. We suffer physically, emotionally, and mentally. If we suffer because we committed sin – given to us as penalty for our sins, then we should endure it. If we suffer in the name of Christ, then we are being perfected in His image. No slave is greater than His master. If Christ our Lord suffered because of righteousness, so we will suffer with Him. Christ said that though we have sufferings in this world, we will conquer this world as He came out of the world victorious. So we have this steadfast hope, that there is a beautiful tomorrow ahead of us. Christ told us so. He was there in deep in suffering. Because He suffered, He teaches us the way to victory. He shows us the way to escape and the way to a victorious life. For a short while, we suffer, but the glory waiting for us is great in heaven. As the saying goes, “No pain, no gain.”
