while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal. (2 Corinthians 4:18 NKJV)

There are things visible and invisible we as Christians confront in this life. The visible things are those seen by the eyes of our physical body. They are earthly things: carnal and temporary. They do not last, and will be destroyed and end. There are invisible things that cannot be seen by the naked eyes but only through the eyes of faith. These are genuine, true, permanent, eternal, and holy. These are of God. We value things not of this world. We aim and strive to gain things which are invisible. They are the source of true, lasting, and great happiness. We are aware things on earth affect our beings as Children of God. We are afflicted and hurt in this life. But this is the way God is preparing us for greater glory in heaven. We cannot be greater than our Lord Jesus Christ. He suffered and even died in the flesh to be glorified in heaven. He gave us an example to endure the tests of this life. He conquered the world, and we shall also conquer this world. If we do, we shall also be glorified in heaven. So, let us suffer for a little while, and reap the glory in store for us eternally. Let us continue our walk of faith until the end.
