For this reason we also thank God without ceasing, because when you received the word of God which you heard from us, you welcomed it not as the word of men, but as it is in truth, the word of God, which also effectively works in you who believe. (1 Thessalonians 2:13 NKJV)
The Church Administration would like to send everyone their gratitude. They are thanking everyone for acknowledging them as God’s elect to administer and lead us to spiritual perfection. There are some of us who show appreciation towards the sincere service of the Church Administration by sending them gifts and other items. Some may proclaim how proud they are because God gave them men who are loyal to their ministry. There are some who consider it pure joy just to have small talk and a little catch up with them. The Church Administration wants to thank you for showing your appreciation. But the very reason they wanted to thank you is your faithfulness in the word of God you received through them. Everyone must fully understand, gifts and acknowledgement make them happy, but what makes them even more so is your obedience. Their success as our spiritual leaders depends on our spiritual growth. More than to be acknowledged as our spiritual leaders, they want us to acknowledge God, the Lord Christ Jesus, as our King and Savior. Please give them more joy so they would perform their ministry more diligently. We can do so by taking their teachings as the word of God that will lead us to perfection and everlasting life.
