Blessed is the man
Who walks not in the counsel of the ungodly,
Nor stands in the path of sinners,
Nor sits in the seat of the scornful. (Psalm 1:1 NKJV)

Every time we are to worship God, we must present ourselves as a living sacrifice, holy and acceptable to Him. We cannot do this if we are performing our ministries while also doing things that are against Christ’s teachings. To help us live acceptably to God, let us ascertain that we surround ourselves with people who can teach and remind us how to be holy. Let us not listen to advices that will take us away from the Lord. Let us not imitate people who are drowning in their worldly desires. Let us not be happy in hearing words that simply hurt others. Let us be examples of peace like the Lord Christ Jesus. Let us do everything to avoid conflict. If we are able, let us befriend everyone. If we will do these things, we will live according to the holy purpose of our calling – to be the light of the world. In being the light of the world, we will lead many souls towards returning to God, making us worthy of eternal life.
