Whom having not seen you love. Though now you do not see Him, yet believing, you rejoice with joy inexpressible and full of glory. (1 Peter 1:8 NKJV)

We loved the Lord. We believed in His love and hope in His promises. Most of all, we lived by His teachings. Because of this, we have obtained His peace and kindness; we experienced deep joy. God is good to those who believe in Him. We come to see each day filled with blessings, compassion, and protection. He hears us every time we pray. He cleanses, sanctifies, and transforms us to live a heavenly life. That is why, we long to see the Lord, to hug Him, and personally serve Him. Although we cannot see Him now, by striving to live in holiness for and by the help of the Lord, with our pure hearts and glorious state created by His goodness, we will see the Lord on His second coming. We can hope that on His second coming, we will be resurrected to inherit the kingdom of heaven, in eternal life. That is why our delight in the Lord, deep in our hearts, can never be taken away.
