Indeed I have all and abound. I am full, having received from Epaphroditus the things sent from you, a sweet-smelling aroma, an acceptable sacrifice, well pleasing to God. (Philippians 4: 18 NKJV)
In the Church, members were called into different ministries according to the pleasure of God’s will. God called some of us to the ministry of administering the Church. This ministry was given to the Mahanaims, led by the Church General Bishop. God gave us the Church Administration for the purpose of equipping the saints for the work of ministry, for edifying Christ’s body. The Church Administration is doing their best to teach us according to the gospel of Christ. For them to be able to continue in upholding their very important ministry, they need the support of the brethren through contributions. Although we are the one giving, it is not the Church Administration who truly benefits from it but us. Through our contributions, the Church Administration has a source to administer the needs of all the saints in different places. Funds raised are used by ministers to go to different locations where the brethren are, so they can teach and exhort them to increase their spirituality. Moreover, our contributions are used to spread the gospel of salvation to all people. So, whenever we give, think that we are the ones benefiting from it because we are helping the men of God lead us to our spiritual maturity. After all, it is always better to give than to receive.
