I know also, my God, that You test the heart and have pleasure in uprightness. As for me, in the uprightness of my heart I have willingly offered all these things; and now with joy I have seen Your people, who are present here to offer willingly to You. (1 Chronicles 29:17 NKJV)
Our God is omniscient. He knows everything. He sees everything. He knows what is in our mind. He knows everything that we keep in our heart, even our deepest desires. God knows everything we need even before we know we need them. God completely knows our poor souls are longing to be saved. God perfectly knows the perfect way for us to be saved – to turn back to Him. For God so loved the world, knowing that we can do nothing to be saved, He did everything for us to find our way back to Him. He manifested Himself in the flesh by the name Jesus Christ. He spent all the years of His life on earth in holy living so that He could leave us a perfect example, which if we follow, will lead us to salvation. His holy blood was shed on the cross to purchase the Most Holy Church, where people will find His salvation. Just like before, we can do nothing to be saved unless God helps us. The only thing we can do is be grateful for everything God has done for us. So today, let us all come united in giving thanks to Him. Let us thank Him for loving us beyond measure. Let us thank Him for establishing the Most Holy Church of God in Christ Jesus. Let us thank Him for electing us to be part of His Spiritual Body, where we took part of His glory. Let us thank Him by living in holiness for He is pleased with the upright. Let us offer ourselves as living sacrifices, holy and acceptable to the Lord.
