Yet the righteous will hold to his way,
And he who has clean hands will be stronger and stronger. (Job 17:9 NKJV)

Every day, we have to make decisions. We expect that the decisions we make will bring us a good and better life. We are very careful in considering our choices, especially when it comes to family matters. We must know that there is a great influence to our own family from the choices we made. Once we make a wrong choice, it will leave scars, pains, and questions. Our family and loved ones will suffer the consequences of our incorrect decision. So, what choice or decision should we make concerning our lifetime welfare? Israel of old turned their backs on God, regarding service to Him as unimportant. Joshua made a very crucial decision for him and his family – a decision that will lead them to a blessed life on earth and to an eternal blessing. Joshua strongly declared his choice. “But as for me and my family, we will serve the LORD.” From his youth, Joshua ministered to Moses. He is full of the spirit of wisdom. He led Israel into the promise land. He began in the right way and ended with the conviction of his choice. He carefully obeyed God’s instruction. They say that to do the right thing is the hardest thing to do. Joshua did not think so. There is no time in his lifetime that he separated from God’s way. He gained victory after victory. God made him great in the eyes of all Israel. Whatever comes our way, whatever battle is raging inside us, we always have a choice. Our choices make us who we are and we can always choose to do the right thing. So, if you want to change, your choices must change. Today is the best day of your life to begin.
