Gold Dust No. 313

Humble yourselves, therefore, under God’s mighty hand, that he may lift you up in due time. (1 Peter 5:6 NIV)

No one can stand before God. We cannot exalt ourselves before anyone else with all our achievements and wealth because we will never be able to achieve something or gain any wealth without the someone’s help especially those given by God. What do you have that God hasn’t given you? And if all you have is from God, why boast as though you have accomplished something on your own? Let us not forget that whoever exalts himself will be humbled, and he who humbles himself will be honored. Therefore, my dear brethren, let us be like a rice plant. The more grain it bears, the more it bows down. The more achievements and wealth we have, the more we should be humble. The more blessings we have, the more we should thank God. God will surely reward our appreciation and gratefulness. Blessings and good things will further abound those who give the glory and honor back to the Most High God. Let us thank God today, tomorrow, and forever.
