Let Us Pray No. 19

  • January 19, 2017

“But seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.” Matthew 6:33

Abba, our Father Most High, at your footstool, we honor and worship you. We live in the world but we are not of the world. You have separated us from this world to give you glory in the way we conduct ourselves and live as your children. You have consecrated us by the sprinkling of your blood. You have chosen and prepared us for holiness. We know that it is difficult, hard and challenging to live righteously in the world of sin. That is why we always pray to you to ask you for direction and strength that we may carry on holy lives. Forgive us of our iniquities. Fill us with new spirit and a new heart to face the world anew. Give us the courage to deny ourselves with selfish ambitions and carnal desires for us to be able to submit ourselves to your will. I will hear you as I pray, Oh Lord. I will be silent and still to hear your voice in my heart. Please tell me how to live our lives today. Show us the way to a peaceful life away from the burden and worries of the necessities of life. We depend solely from your provision. If we seek your kingdom and live righteously, you will supply us with all our needs. May we be instruments to advance your kingdom on earth, in sharing your Gospel of Salvation and your love to everyone.  Father, we sincerely intend to glorify you in our lives today, please help us do so in your name. Amen.
