Let Us Pray No. 187

  • July 6, 2017

“The Lord grant to him that he may find mercy from the Lord in that Day; and you know very well how many ways he ministered to me at Ephesus.” 2 Timothy 1:18

Abba, dear Lord merciful and gracious. You made as one spiritual body. Each of us has a part we need to fulfill according to the measure of the gift you have given to every member of your dear Church. For us to do this, we made a solemn oath to each other under your covenant of love that we should love one another and serve one another. Help us all, Lord, in engaging and involving every one of us in the growing work of your Kingdom. Enable us to disciple more men and women that can be of help in promoting  the great commission of your church, the spreading of your gospel for the salvation of many souls. We also pray for them that whole heartedly and relentlessly support the needs of your church. May you continue to prosper their hearts and souls for them to remain generous in their ministry of giving. Abba, bless your chosen Church Servant with wisdom and the strength of your Holy Spirit. Provide him faithful and hardworking subordinates which will lighten his burden. May a portion from the spirit you bestow in him be upon them so that they can be effective performing their ministries for the edification of your people. Lord, our battle of faith is getting harder, help us to remain knitted together in unity and in love, to be zealous of good works whether we are in prosperity or adversity until we all become unblemished and perfect in your sight prepared to receive the crown of righteousness and everlasting glory and happiness. Amen.
