“But He gives more grace. Therefore He says: “God resists the proud, but gives grace to the humble.” James 4:6
Abba, our Father who dwells in the highest of heavens, we cast ourselves to you seeking your full authority over us. You commanded us never to rely on our own knowledge and understanding for we might fall in arrogance and self-conceit. Forgive us if you have sought us playing God in different aspects of our lives. You told us to humbly ask you when divine wisdom and knowledge are lacking in us. May it be our knowledge and wisdom itself in understanding that you are the only source of all blessings which would bring us to success lives. Oh God, with all humility and trust we implore you to bless our plans and dreams for your ways are excellent, perfect and righteous. Lord, help us to clear our minds and hearts. May we do away with complaints, grudges and alibis, instead, may we do our own works silently and whole-heartedly. Likewise, Lord, put in our hearts what we should desire that our plans are aligned with yours. In this way we are certain that we cannot fail, rather, we shall be happy and prosperous. God, help us. Amen.
