Abba, Father. We ask for Your blessing, for Your guidance and direction as we begin today our life’s journey. We are not certain of what it will bring us, but You oh, Lord knows everything. You are in control of everything in the whole of creation. If I go in my own way, I know that I can go astray and will just grope in darkness and eventually stumble and fall. Truly, You are the light and in you there is no darkness. We pray and ask for Your words to enlighten our spiritual sight. Please lead us to Your way that I may walk in the highway of holiness. Show us Your will that we may do what is pleasing and acceptable to You; not our will but Your will. Let Your words be the lamp on our feet to lead us in which direction we must go. When there are crossroads along the way, and we need to decide which way to go%
